JENA CODY In 2006 I attended my first Parelli course and spent 6 weeks at the Parelli International ranch. I knew that I had to do more with Parelli, because I fell in love with the program. I came home for 8 months and tried to figure out how I’d get back. Thanks to Rolley Hoch, I got an interview with Pat Parelli and was then offered a student position at his personal barn. There I spent two years at Pat’s side, improving myself in the four business savvys, which are Horse Development, Facility Management, Teaching, and Administration. After those two years I graduated from Pat’s Mastery Program as both a 3 Star fully endorsed Master Instructor and a Bronze level fully endorsed Horse Specialist. I’m now based with a facility in Mancos, Colorado, and am happy to be here to help the horsemen and women of the Four Corners area with their horsemanship journey!

I started riding when I was 2 years old when my parents bought me a pony instead of a baby stroller. When I was 6 years old I started competing in local gymkhanas all around the Verde Valley in Arizona. By the time I was ten I was competing all around Arizona in the Arizona Junior Rodeo Association, and then I went on to the Arizona High School Rodeo Association where I won many state championships and was a top ten competitor in Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Goat Tying, Break Away Roping, and Ribbon Roping. In 2006 I moved to the beautiful state of Colorado and competed in the Colorado State High School Rodeo Association for two years, where I qualified to the National High School Rodeo in Springfield, Illinois for Girls Cutting; there I was Reserve State Champion. That same year I earned the title of the 2006 Ute Mountain Round-up Rodeo Queen and was honored to represent the Rodeo in numerous parades and ag shows around the Four Corners area.
