Rules and Requirements

  • The following will be required for check-in no later than 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17th.
    • Original Registration Certificate for each animal if applicable.  Required on all registered breeds.
    • Current Health Certificate (30 day) on each animal
    • Brand Inspection on each animal or proof of ownership.
  • All Bulls and heifers must be in place by 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17th and must remain in place until end of Expo on Sunday at 3 p.m.  Exceptions must be approved by a member of the Ag Expo Board.
  • Bulls must be younger than 30 months and older than 10 months of age.
  • New for this year we will be having a replacement heifer sale following the Bull sale.
  • All heifers must be Bangs, BVD vaccinated; PAP scores are optional but recommended.
  • Each reservation must include a signed entry form and entry fee, check or money order (no credit/debit cards)
  • Any cattle having visible skin disease must have been treated prior to arrival at the Ag Expo and this must be stated on their health certificate by a veterinarian in order to be allowed on Ag Expo grounds.
  • All Bulls/Heifers must be negative to Brucellosis test within 30 days of sale.
  • All Bulls/Heifers shall have a negative test to Trichomonas Foetus.
  • All Bulls/Heifers must have passed a breeding soundness test. Certification to be furnished or noted on health paper.
  • All guarantees are strictly between the buyer and seller.
  • All sales are final.  All settlements are required the day of the sale.
  • PAP scores are optional, but recommended.

       Pen assignments are on a first come, first served basis.  See the website for pen availability.

Sale Costs

  • Entry Fee: $125 per animal.
  • You may cancel your entry no later than March 1st.  After this date, a suitable replacement for your entry must be made or your entry fee will not be refunded.
  • A $100 flat commission fee will be assessed to the final sale price of each Bull/Heifer. 
  • Floor will be set at owner’s discretion

The Ag Expo Operations Board reserves the right to deny entry of any Bull/Heifer because of health reasons.
