Four States Ag Expo - March 15-18, 2012 Montezuma County Fairgrounds, Cortez, Colorado
Exhibitors
The Four States Agricultural Exposition is now widely recognized as the largest and most innovative agriculture show between the Great Plains and the West Coast.  The Ag Expo embraces the broadest possible definition of agriculture from traditional crops and livestock through a full range of organic and specialty crops as well as livestock productions.  Full emphasis is also placed on agricultural marketing and creative value added products and services.

Visitors get important information about new agricultural technology, supplies and services through one-on-one contact with exhibitors.  For example, of the 150 exhibitors in 2007, approximately 1/4 were either non-profit organizations or governmental agencies that were present to provide free information to farmers, ranchers and rural residents including the Division of Wildlife, Montezuma County Weed Program and the Colorado Department of Agriculture.

Commercial exhibitors too, offered educational information to visitors along with their sales efforts.  Basin Coop, Geisinger Feed and IFA Country Stores provided free information about nutrition and care of livestock and pets.  Meier Marketing, LanMark Productions and Ryan’s Custom Products offered tips on marketing and great promotional products.  MFE West, Southwest Ag and Martin’s Implement demonstrated the latest in implement and both small and large tractors.

Educational clinics, seminars and demonstrations provided specific information about a variety of topics. The Ag Expo Schedule is packed with over 20 different clinics and demonstrations including a full schedule of equestrian workshops offered by partners of the Rocky Mountain Horse Expo.  Over 200 4-H and FFA members participated in livestock, horse and agricultural mechanics skill contests.
